Arm Injury Claims

If you or a loved one have suffered an arm injury due to the negligence of someone else, then you may be entitled to compensation. Turn to The Compensation Experts for arm injury claims expertise you won’t find anywhere else.

At The Compensation Experts, we understand that suffering from a serious arm injury can have a devastating effect on your everyday life. Not only can it leave you or a loved one in physical agony, but it may also result in your financial situation being comprised. You may also require modifications to your home, extra care, rehabilitation, and support should you be unable to work. Whether you’re seeking broken arm compensation or general arm injury compensation, The Compensation Experts can help.

Common Types of Arm Injury

Arm injuries are common. They can happen because of slips, trips, and falls, accidents at work, sports accidents, and road traffic accidents. Arm injuries include any injury to the forearm, upper arm or elbow. Some of the most common arm injuries that lead to arm injury claims include:

  • Fractures and breaks
  • Damaged or torn muscles
  • Soft tissue injuries
  • Burns
  • Injuries that build up over time, for example, repetitive strain injury (RSI)

Broken Arm Compensation

No two injuries are the same, therefore there is no one answer to how much broken arm compensation you could claim. However, there are guidelines that indicate how much compensation for a broken arm you could expect. These are the Judicial College Guidelines, and they estimate how much someone may be able to claim for injuries. The Judicial College Guidelines state that, for broken arm compensation, you could claim between £5,280 and £15,300,* depending on the severity of the injury.

*Based on the 2021 Judicial College Guidelines.

The Compensation Experts work with solicitors who operate on a no win no fee basis. This means that if you don’t win your case, you and your family aren’t left with any scary costs.

Typically, customers pay 25% including VAT of the compensation amount that is recovered by our third-party law firms, although this is subject to your individual circumstances and the actual fee may be more or less than this. For example, you may be required to pay an additional fee for other costs such as after-the-event (ATE) insurance. Termination fees may apply.

    Am I eligible?

If you have suffered an arm injury or been harmed physically in the last 3 years, and the cause was someone else’s negligence, then the answer is yes.
Exceptions to this would be cases of industrial disease, or if you were still a child when the accident occurred. In this case you may have a longer period to claim.
